The first four were the hardest
to do because there was no way
to know if the placement of the
ring was directly in the middle
of the circle or not.  Once the
first four were up, the rest fit
into place with little to no
resistance. The weather was
gorgeous!
We were excited to finally
see a yurt appearing before
our eyes!
With the rafters up we were
able to create ourselves a
better work shelter than the
lean-to we had before.
This one wouldn't collapse under
the weight of the snow but it
was difficult to find a large
enough tarp to cover the whole
thing.
The next stage was to add
middle joists between each
rafter to keep each rafter
from spinning and to create a
stronger roof. (for snow load)
